In zijn aanvullingen en correcties van "De (van oorsprong doopsgezinde) familie ten C(K)ate uit Borne" van 1-11-1992, blz. 5, geeft C.L. ten Cate als mogelijk toch uit dit huw. geb. kk.: a. Lambert ten Cate, vr. overl.; b. Teunis ten Cate, geb. Almelo ca 1690, geh. Almelo 29-8-1728 met Maria Warnaars, de stamvader van een Almelose tak. Zie: "De Almelose tak van de (van oorsprong doopsgezinde) familie ten Cate uit Borne", van W.E.M. ten Cate, Maasland 1991, hfdst. XIV, blz. 308-346. (STAM-ALM prs. nr. 265). Deze vermoedens worden echter nergens gestaafd met enig bewijs.

Their notice of marriage was on June 11, 1687 in Deventer.

They got married on July 2, 1687 at Deventer, she was 24 years old.

Kampen 7-1-1647, grootburger van Kampen 3-8-1674, koopman in vlas en linnen, overl. ald. 17-1-1712, wedr. van Femmecien Gerrits (Bron: GA Kampen: Register mennonieten; Ned. Patriciaat, 60e jrg. (1974), genealogie Van Calcar, blz. 174). GA Kampen: begraafboek Kampen: begr. 16-5-1729 "de wede van Hendrick Riggers" haar dochter (een kind uit haar eerste huw. met Gerrit Lambertsz ten Cate?). Idem: begr. 22 sept. 1731 "De weeduwe van Hendrick Jorensen Righarts".
