The Cronica Principum Saxonie names "Mechtildem filiam Conradi marchionis de Landesberch" as wife of "Albertus secundus"[232]. "Mechtildis…marchionissa Brandenburgensis, Johannes et Otto filii eius" purchased territories from the archbishop of Magdeburg, with the consent of "Henricus comes Ascharie, qui tutelam prefatorum nepotum nostrorum gerimus", by charter dated 20 Sep 1221[233].
