She is married to Joannes Baptista de Roeck.

Joannes Baptist De Roeck huwde in 1792 te Schelle met de Antwerpse Hubertina Herly. Samen kregen ze twee kinderen: Anna (°1795) en Maria (°1797).  Hubertina Herly stierfin december 1800. Al snel vond Joannes Baptist De Roeck de liefde ergens anders, want 9 maand, in Augustus 1801 later beviel zijn nieuwe Ruisbroekse vriendin Barbara Pintens van hun zoon, Jan-Corneel. Nadien volgde nog Louis (°1803), Jan Francis (°1807) en Carolus (°1812). De twee jongste zonen van het gezin gingen aan het werk als metser. Jan Francis vond zijn geluk in Londerzeel, terwijl Carolus een tijdje richting Antwerpen trok.


 


Joannes-Baptist en Barbara Pintens bleven jaren lang ongehuwd! Het duurde tot 1833 tot de twee in het huwelijksbootje stapte. Ze waren toen al ruim 30 jaar een koppel! Slechts één jaar later, stierf Barbara Pintens.


 


Joannes-Baptist woont samen met zijn zoon Louis, die als wever werkte, in een huisje te Schelle. In 1950 gaat de gezondheid van Joannes-Baptist achteruit. Begin februari van dat jaar besluit zijn oudste dochter uit zijn eerste huwelijk, de ongehuwde Anna, uit Brussel te keren voor haar vader bij te staan. Slechts 14 dagen later overlijd Joannes Baptist. Twee jaar na zijn overlijden vertrekt ze richting Hemiksem.
