Notes about Joannes Leonardus "Jan" Snoeren

Johannes Leendert Snoeren, bouwman en arbeider, gedoopt te Loon op Zand op 4 september 1754 (rk),
overleden te Loon op Zand op 15 augustus 1835. Hij is eerst getrouwd te Loon op Zand op 29 mei 1785 (ng)
met Adriana Cox, gedoopt te Loon op Zand op 7 september 1760 (rk), overleden aldaar op 14 augustus
1790, begraven aldaar op 17 augustus 1790, dochter van Embertus Cox en Antonia van Uijen. Op 11
november 1789 koopt Johannes van Judocus den Ouden en Jacobus Adriaan Snoeren een huis met hof, erf,
land, weide en heide, gelegen in Hil en Moer voor een bedrag van 300 gulden.[26]
Hij is na de dood van zijn eerste vrouw getrouwd te Loon op Zand op 22 mei 1791 (ng) (in de kerk met
dispensatie vanwege bloedverwantschap in de 4e graad) met Anna Maria Dingemans, gedoopt te Loon op
Zand op 28 december 1763 (rk), overleden aldaar op 29 september 1825, dochter van Jan Dingemans en
Pieternella Freijse. Voordat het tweede huwelijk gesloten kan worden, moet Johannes eerst een inventaris
overleggen, zodat duidelijk is welke goederen voor zijn zoon uit het eerste huwelijk zijn. Het huisje dat hij
in 1789 heeft gekocht, staat op deze inventaris samen met een perceel heide en de huisraad.[27] In 1802 is
Johannes samen met zijn vrouw erfgenaam van Adriaan Jan Dingemans, die als metselaarsbaas sterft in
Paramaribo, in de kolonie Suriname. Deze laat niet minder dan 2432 gulden na.[28]
Uit het eerste huwelijk worden Leendert en een kind geboren dat samen met Adriana in het kraambed sterft.
Het tweede huwelijk levert nog acht kinderen op.
