RAL-LvO 1756, 215v: Op 7 januari 1708 verklaarde Matthijs Renckens,
wonende op een pachthoeve in het land van Gulik,
gehuwd met Margaretha Nuchelmans,
dat hij voor zijn zoon Christianus
een beneficie wilde stichten opdat hij in de geestelijke stand zou kunnen treden.
Hij deed daartoe afstand van zijn onroerende goederen onder Grijzegrubben-Nuth,
bestaande in huis, hof, weilanden, beemden en akkerlanden, circa zes bunders groot en 700 rijksdaalders waard, waarvan jaarlijks 35 pattacons rente getrokken kon worden.
Zijn zoon zou voortaan uit deze goederen zijn onderhoud kunnen betalen.:
