      en overleden te Geleen op 11 nov. 1985.
      Ondanks het feit dat haar gezondheidstoestand de laatste jaren veel te wensen overliet, hoorde je haar nooit klagen. Tenslotte is
      ze. zoals ze was: rustig en kalm, van ons heengegaan.
      Nooit zullen we vergeten wat ze voor ons betekend heeft, want ze was een moeder uit duizenden. Met volle inzet en overgave heeft ze
      zich steeds aan haar gezin gewijd. Niets was
      haar te veel als het ging om haar kinderen of
      kleinkinderen. Een vrouw die zichzelf geheel
      kon wegcijferen. Gastvrij stond ze voor eenieder klaar, want ze had graag mensen om
      zich heen.
      Zelf was ze met weinig tevreden, want ze leefde steeds eenvoudig. Ze was in het geheel
      niet materialistisch ingesteld.
      Ondanks haar gevorderde leeftijd verloor ze
      nooit het kontakt met de buitenwereld. Ze
      bleet zich steeds op de hoogte houden van de
      ontwikkelingen rondom haar. In zekere zin
      zouden we haar zeifs een modernevrouw kunnen noemen, die goed met haar tijd meekon.
      Naast de vele gelukkige momenten die zij gekend heelt, heeft ze het leven ook van de
      schaduwzijde leren kennen. Vooral de dood
      van haar man Piet in 1962, die zij na ruim 30
      jaar gelukkig huwelijksleven moest afgeven,
      heeft haar veel leed berokkend.
      Toch bleef ze opgewekt en vergat ze in haar
      voortdurende zorg om haar kinderen en kleinkinderen haar eigen verdriet_
      Vanuit het geloof in de goedheid van God
      heeft ze geleefd en in dit geloof is ze gestorven. Ze had een bijzondere devotie tot de H.
      Gerardus en O.L.V. van Lourdes. Moge zij nu
      op voorspraak van hen de beloning verkrijgen
      voor haar trouw en liefdevol leven. Zij ruste in
      vrede.
      De familie dankt U hartelijk voor de vele blijken van belangstelling en voor Uw deelneming betuigd bij het overlijden en de begrafenis van haar die ons zo dierbaar was.
      De plechtige zeswekendienst wordt gehouden in de kerk van de H. Joseph te Valkenburg - Broek hem op zondag 22 december a.s.
