Getuigen bij de dopen der kinderen (te Montzen): Leonardus Gulpen, Maria Anna Chaineux. Getuigen bij het huwelijk: Maria Theresia Kohnen, Leonardus Gulpen.

Doopgetuige Maria Anna Chaineux was de moeder van Christianus; getuige bij het huwelijk Maria Theresia Kohnen was een zuster.

Christianus Kohnen woonde, blijkens een notitie op de overlijdensakte van zijn dochter Josephina, in Montzen (B), maar werd er vermoedelijk niet geboren, want we treffen nauwelijks Kohnen's, Coenen's etc. aan in Montzen. Wel een generatie eerder in het naburige Sippenaken, waar op 1-11 1717 een Christianus Coenen trouwt met Barbara Schumächers. We zien bij de nakomelingen van het echtpaar de namen Joseph en (Maria) Josephina herhaaldelijk opduiken. De dochter van Christianus Kohnen en Maria Theresia van Gulpen heette eveneens Josephina.

Een Christianus Kohnen getuigde op 20-8 1826 te Vaals bij de doop van Leonardus Crutzerclaes.
