Dode te Hollum (A) bij vreemd ongeval

Bij Hollum op Ameland heeft zich
gistermiddag bij de aanleg van de stuifdijk
een vreemd ongeval voorgedaan
dat aan de 52-Jarige arbeider A de
Groot uit Amsterdam het leven heeft
gekost. Het slachtoffer lag levenloos
in het zand achter een zandauto waarvan
van hij even tevoren de laadklep had
open gedaan.
De chauffeur van de auto de heer
J van der Stoel uit Badhoevedorp zag
de man liggen toen hij een eindje vooruit
uit was gereden nadat zijn wagen was
gekiept. Uit de verwondingen van het
slachtoffer bleek dat het was overreden
De rijkspolitie heeft nog niet kunnen
vaststellen hoe het ongeluk zich
precies heeft toegedragen.
