Vanaf december 1762 was Wieger in de kost bij zijn zwager Hendrik Bartels Idzerda.

Op lidmatenlijst Wanswerd na 1755.

Hij was onderwijzer en organist te Wanswerd vanaf mei 1763 tot in 1775 en trouwde op 16 juni 1765 met Grietje Lykeles.

Hij was ook verver en glasmaker; bovendien dorprechter te Wanswerd. Zie ook GEN 845-1.

Hij overleed in 1778 op 37 jarige leeftijd.
