Den 18-12-1838 is aan boord van de kanonneerboot no. 65 op de Schelde overleden Johannes POST, oud 45 jaar, sergeant bij de Eerste Divisie Mariniers, geboren en laatstelijk woonachtig te Delft, zoon van Cornelis en van Agatha van LEEUWEN.

Uit overlijdensacte d.d. 29-12-1824:
Aangifte door Willem POST, 36 jaar schippersknecht, zoon en Jan KUNST, 33 jaar, plateelbakkersknecht, bekende. Overleden Cornelis Klaasse POST, 66 jaar, veerschipper op Rotterdam, zoon van Frank POST in leven veerschippersknecht op Maassluis en van Baartje BERGWERF, beiden alhier overleden. Echtgenoot van Agatha van LEEUWEN, zonder beroep, wonende alhier in de scheepmakerij wijk 7 no. 86.
