Willem Willems bewoonde Sythemastate in de Bird onder Grouw, nr. 66 vanhet stemcohier, groot 70 pondematen. In 1640 waren hiervan eigenaren:Willem Willems de jonge, Sytze Gerbens weeskind (Antje Sytzes) enCornelis Ates. Deze boerderij ligt, wanneer men van Grouw over hetPikmaar komt, rechts van de Blauwe Bird. Op 26 nov. 1628 wordt WillemWillems genoemd bij de inventarisatie van de goederen door zijn zwagerSytze Gerbens nagelaten. Deze inventarisatie werd opgemaakt op verzoekvan Tryntje Feddes, weduwe van Sytze Gerbens, en moeder van de vijfjarigeAntje Sytzes (Idaarderadeel, J 4). Op 30 maart 1642 vond deinventarisatie plaats ten huize van Eelcke Sybrants te Idaard, schoonzoonvan Willem Willems, die dan curator is over het nagelaten weeskind vanEelcke Sybrants en van Jouck Willems (Idaarderadeel, J 6). Op 18 nov.1652 blijkt Willem Willems reeds overleden te zijn als in het sterfhuisde inventarisatie van zijn nalatenschap plaatsvindt.
