De familie woonde in 1721, na de familie Methorst, op de boerderij Ubbeschoten te Renswoude tot 1760. Daarna woonde Arris Bruinisse van Wolswinkel er. Eigenaar van deze boerderij was Frederik Adriaan Baron van Reede, overleden in 1740. Na het overlijden van zijn vrouw ging de boerderij over in handen van Jan Gerard Maximiliaan Taets van Amerongen
Wordt ook wel Willem Willemsz de Koning genoemd.
