cus. Zijn schoonvader wordt dan Kreutlers genoemd. Het bruidspaar heef
t permissie van Weilburg gekregen om in Kubach te trouwen. De reden is n
og onbekend. Vermoedelijk was er op dat moment geen dominee in Weilburg
, was diezelfde man ook dominee in Kubach of is de bruidegom wellicht ka
tholiek geweest.

Notes about Caesar Christian Christof Löder

Hij heeft het naar de maatstaven uit die tijd redelijk goed. Hij heeft e
en huis en genoeg te eten. Vreemd is echter dat alleen ex-lakeien de fun
ctie van torenwachter of stadsmusikant kunnen krijgen.

Bij de diverse doopinschrijvingen van zijn kinderen wordt hij genoemd: H
errsch. Hobboist 1735+1737, HoffMusico und Laquai 1741, Hoff und Stadtmu
sici 1742, Musico 1742+1744, Stadtmusico 1746+1749+1750+1753+1767; Thürn
er und Musici 1750 in Weilburg.
In latere doopregistraties van zijn kinderen wordt hij ook stadstrompett
er, hobboist en lakei genoemd. Dat duidt er op dat hij aan het hof van d
e Graven van Nassau-Weilburg (Saarbrücken) heeft gediend. De vorst was d
an ook de absolute heerser in het gebied, een ieder danste naar zijn pij
pen. Als Stadtpfeifer sinds 1744 diende hij ieder kwartier, half uur, e
n heel uur van de 'stadtpfeifer turm' met aansluitend de stadtpfeifer wo
hnung, een onderdeel van Schloss Weilburg de tijd te blazen. Ook in geva
l van brand of onraad diende hij de burgers daarvan door middel van trom
petgeschal op de hoogte te brengen. In deze functie was hij ook torenwac
hter en had hij de beschikking over 1 of 2 assistenten, die meestal verp
lichtend werden opgelegd. Dat kost zoveel dat dit soort fuctionarissen e
r een aantal bijbaantjes op na hield en de assistenten de torenwacht voo
r hun rekening namen. In 1768 werd hij opgevolgd door de broers Johann G
otlied en Heinrich Simon Jonas uit Wezlar, die in Lauterbach waren gebor
en. Dat betekende dat zijn familie ook niet meer in de Türmer-Wohnung bi
j de stadtpfeifer turm kon blijven wonen. Caesar was ondanks dat hij bi
j de Graven van Nassau-Weilburg diende geen burger van de stad. Als nie
t burger had hij dan ook niet de verplichting om zich te laten registrer
en wanneer ij het land uit wilde, zoals zij zoon Heinrich D. later doet
, vermoedelijk na het overlijden van zijn ouders.
