Oma Kip zou eigenlijk Oma Dupker worden, maar oma Dup leek ons makkelijker (net als opa Dup - Jan Willem Dupker), Bert maakte daar voor de grap Oma Duck (van Donald Duck) van, alleen sprak Gina niet zo goed en werd het Oma Kip.
