Notes about Johannes "Jan" Perenboom

Nadat hij als kind van Gerardus P. als enige was overgebleven vertrokken ze rond 1860 naar de St Jansberg waar ze een boerderijtje kochten.Naast dit bedoeninkje werkten ze aan het graven van de spoorlijn van Nijmegen naar Groesbeek. Deze lijn werd in 1865 geopend. In 1888 stierf vader Gerardus. Enige tijd daarna trouwde Jan met Johanna Hermans. In 1905 heeft hij met vele anderen een cooperatieve zuivelfabriek opgericht.
