In 1805 is Jenneken Voorthuis weduwe van Evert Paalberents of Paalman. Het echtpaar blijft wonen op de boerderij waar Jenneken ook tijdens haar 1st huwelijk woonde. Dit is het erve "Ebbekes" in de Beuseberg. Het echtpaar sticht ws. voor 06-01-1807 een nieuwe katerstede die "Schutte(n)" of "Oud Ebbekes" gaat heten.
