Op 1 maart 1882 verhuizen zij naar Erve "Slagscholte" in Verwolde, sinds 1971: Groenedijk 3 in Laren (Gld), met hun zonen Teunis en Berend Jan, nadat Hendrik Jan Vreeman en Derkje Overkamp, weduwe van Jan Willem Schoneveld, met kinderen naar Gorssel waren vertrokken.
