    Verder zijn AWP en zijn vrouw, apart van elkaar, uit het gezin vertrokken ergens in 1930 (scheiding in 1934 uitgesproken). Hun 5 kinderen zijn, zoals het er naar uitziet op de gezinskaart, in hun huis een paar maanden opgevangen door Willemina Magielse. Haar (toekomstige) man Johannes Petrus Visser (jongste broer van AWP) zat op dat moment in Eindhoven.
    Daarna zijn de kinderen in pleeggezinnen onder gebracht. Mijn vader was 1 van die kinderen. Hij was toen net 3 jaar. De ouders zijn uit de ouderlijke macht ontzet. Het fijne weet ik er (nog) niet van.

    Het wrange is dat AWP Visser de kinderen van zijn oudste broer heeft opgevangen in hun huis in Velsen. Nadat binnen 1 jaar in dat gezin de vader Petrus Anth. Martinus (31-12-1929), een 5 jarig dochtertje (3-8-1930) en moeder Barb. S. Klijn (16-12-1930) was overleden. Er bleven toen 4 weeskinderen over. De oudste en jongste woonden ruim 2 jaar met AWP Visser en gingen daarna naar een kindertehuis. De 2 middelste kinderen kwamen direct in een kindertehuis. Later gingen ze naar een ander kindertehuis (een paar km. van de plekken waar mijn vader en zijn broer en zussen zaten. Ik ben er van overtuigd dat ze elkaar niet kenden. Bizar, he?)
