“Komt te 21 uur aan dit bureau Abraham Christiani, 41 jaar, dierenhandelaar, woont Balboastraat 29 I, die verklaart dat heden avond in de rijwielstalling van Jacob Greven, Balboastraat 27 een herenrijwiel was gestald dat van hem op 13 maart 1944 op het Amstelveld gestolen was. Bij onderzoek door (.) ingesteld, bleek dat het rijwiel gestald was door Menno Klok, geb. 6-11-18 te Odoorn (D), los arbeider, uit Vanthermond K 592 A. Hij was bij H. Roosien, Balboastraat 52 I. Hij verklaarde: “Ik heb het rijwiel vandaag gekocht van mijn oom Willem Roosien, rijwielstalling, Damstraat 12 A alhier voor f 40. Het herenrijwiel is door rapporteur in beslag genomen en zal ter beschikking worden gesteld van recherchebureau 44. Christiani die nog geen aangifte gedaan heeft, zal dit op 8-4-44 aan bureau 32 doen."
