Notities bij Idzard Hobbe van Burmania:
BURMANIA (Edzard Hobbe van), gedoopt te Ferwerd 23 Oct. 1698, overl. in 1770, zoon van Edzard, hiervoor, en van Anna Dodonea barones thoe Schwartzenberg en Hohenlansberg.
Hij trad in militairen dienst, werd kolonel der ruiterij en later raad in het Hof van Friesland. Hij hield zijn gewoon verblijf te Bakkeveen en huwde in Juli 1727 met Johanna Wilhelmina barones van Schratenbach, gedoopt te Holwerd 1 Oct. 1699, dochter van Willem Frederik en van Juliana Dorothea v. Aylva.
Uit dit huwelijk 9 kinderen, waarvan Willem Frederik Schratenbach v.B. volgt.
