Op 30 oktober is de bom onderste boven gevonden op het strand van het Engelse plaatsje Trimmingham, nabij Lowestoft. Na een gat in de romp gemaakt te hebben vond men 7 overleden bemanningsleden. Die zijn op de begraafplaats van Trimmingham begraven. Drie bemanningsleden waren waarschijnlijk aan dek en zijn omgekomen in de golven en nooit gevonden.
