Notes about Teunis Johan Theodoor "Jo" Papeveld

Jo (voor intimi Jewan) is vermoedelijk op 21 september 1920 naar Amsterdam vertrokken. Daar is hij gaan werken bij de Rotterdamse Bank waar hij het tot procuraiehouder heeft gebracht. Hij is gehuwd met tante Co (van Dijk) en kregen 3 kindren, Janny, Gerda en Hannie. Oom Jo was lid van de vrijmetselarij.
Oom Jo was zeker gastvrij. In de oorlog liet hij zijn neef Arnold Weber bij hem onderduiken. Ook de tantes, Pie, Marie en Zoete, kwamen in de oorlog vaak langs - niet tot ieders vreugde, zeker niet toen op een zondag er konijn op tafel kwam en de tantes mee bleven eten. En zo groot was dat beestje niet. De tantes verbleven tijdens de oorlog in de Scheldestraat in Amsterdam.Ook tante Willy - van Marius - verbleef bij haar zwager en schoonzus in verband met onderzoek naar de oorzaak van het uitblijven van zwangerschap. Marius en Willy bleven kinderloos, maarwaren voor broers, zussen, neefs en nichtjes een warm nest, waar veel mogelijk was.
