Caroline Dehaas May 24 1961-March 4 2016 Caroline Ann Dehaas (nee Onderwater) passed peacefully onto glory into God's heavenly dwelling place on Friday night, March 4th. Her husband Bill, and children Jaclyn (Rick Dykstra), Tanya (Al Scholtens; Josh, Owen, Claire, Audrey), Lynette (Greg Vandergaag: Kenzie, Liam, Arie), Trevor, Tamara (Kevin deLeeuw; Kasia, Levi) mourn the passing of their beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Caroline was diagnosed with cancer in August of 2013. After various treatments the cancer spread, and on Friday night Caroline won her battle over cancer by being promoted to glory. Caroline was a devoted wife to Bill, mother to her 5 children, and a beloved grandmother to her 9 grandchildren, whom she adored very much; she always had time for each and every one of them. She also loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; this was very evident in her daily walk with the Lord. She and Bill spoke often of entering heaven's gates, knowing that death was the final enemy before she was welcomed by God. She will be deeply missed not only by her family but also her siblings, friends and the Church community she was a part of. A memorial service will be held on Thursday March 10 at 1PM at the Langley Canadian Reformed Church at 21804 52 Avenue Langley BC. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Gateway for Hope in Langley, a shelter for homeless in Langley. Bill & Caroline, through their company Design Lighting, have been active in donating their time and money over the last number of years.
