promoveerde tot jur. utr. doctor 19 Juni 1711 op een proefschrift De Furtis. In 1708 was hij kerkmeester van de Nieuwe Walenkerk, werd commissaris 1713, schepen 1726, burgemeester 1735, curator van het amsterdamsche Athenaeum 1741, assessor van het gooilandsche Jagtgeregt, gecommitteerde in het Collegie ter admiraliteit 1745 en 46, een en ander te Amsterdam. Hem behoorde de hofstede Waterlant in Kennemerland.
