De schout contra Cornelis Mijnheere over “teater spelen” met vele andere personen ondanks uitdrukkelijk verbod van de schout het spel in het aanschouwen van veel mensen op de 3de pinksterdag geweest in de zomer van 1696. Die anderen zijn geweest Marinis Mijnheere, Lauweris de Winter, Lauweris Hoemacker, Cornelis Hoemacker en Jacob Reijnse.

Hetzelfde speelt dan weer, nu tegen Cornelis Menheere, Pieter Copmels, Jan Gillisse, Matthijs Huyge, Cornelis Langemare, Job Poole, Jacobus Braeije en Jan Stevense. De schout was de dag tevoren dat zij speelden ontboden ten huize van Cornelis Menheere en daar was Pieter Copmels, “prijnse van het Retorika Gilde” met het verzoek te mogen spelen. De schout staat het niet toe. Ze doen het toch en nu eist de schout van ieder persoon 2 pond plus de kosten. Er wordt flink gedelibereerd en op 17 februari 1703 worden ze veroordeeld
