Willem Lijzen uit Eefde is de nieuwe hoofdbewoner en eigenaar van de Bloedkamp (en daarmee ook van erve de Kippe te Epse en de Grote Kap te Gorssel) en de eerste registratie is van 1859, maar aangenomen mag worden dat hij in 1856 al op de Bloedkamp is komen wonen aangezien op 25 september 1856 erve "De Meijer" of "Bloedkamp" wordt geveild en Willem dan waarschijnlijk de koper is geweest. Hij is dan nog vrijgezel en woont met zijn moeder Hendrika Brummelman en zus Hendrika en later ook zus Aaltjen en broer Hendrikus Johannes, allemaal zijn ze ongetrouwd. Beide zussen overlijden op de Bloedkamp op 55-jarige leeftijd.
Op 28 april 1865 trouwt hij dan met Grada Johanna Vrielink uit Laren en wordt de familie uitgebreid met één dochter: Harmken. Willem is timmerman van beroep (zit in de familie) maar wordt akkerbouwer en heeft daarvoor ook diensknechten en dienstmeiden in dienst. In huis is ook een bestedeling en er is zelfs sprake van dubbele bewoning, want aan de andere kant van de boerderij woont Johanna Brokken, weduwe van Harmen Boterman. Zij verhuist echter later naar 't Boschloo waar zij eerder woonde met Harmen, hij er er in 1859 gestorven. De vrijgekomen plek wordt later ingenomen door Hendrikus Johannes Lijzen, de eerder genoemde broer van Willem. Hij is wel timmerman van beroep en zo zijn er op de Bloedkamp een akkerbouwer en timmerman actief.
Na het overlijden van Grada op 24 februari 1888 besluit de inmiddels 63-jarige Willem het rustiger aan te gaan doen en houdt op 8 januari 1889 een erfhuis waarmee een gedeelte van de inboedel verkocht wordt. Samen met zijn dochter Harmken gaat hij dan aan de andere kant van de boerderij wonen, broer Hendrikus Johannes woonde daar al niet meer.
