"Bill"operated the Maurice Oil Company and drove a school bus for Maurice Public School and Later Maurice-Orange City schools.He retired driving bus in 1972 and the Oil Company in 1979.Laura passed away on July 29,1983,in Maurice. On Nov.9,1985 he married Ann Hermann-Kempers in Sioux City.They made their home in Maurice, Ann passed away March 2,2002,he became a residence in the nursing home in Sept.2002. He a member of First Reformed Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Services will be 11a.m.today at Frist Reformed Church in Maurice,with Rev.Wayne Sneller officiating. Burial will be prior to services in Sherman Township Cemetery near Maurice,Iowa. There will be family prayer services at 9:30a.m. today at Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City,Iowa. Surviviors include,five children: Gary and Dorothy of Clinton; Gloria and Louis Wierda of Maurice; Elaine and Dennis Dekker of Sioux Center; Karen and David Hulsart of Orange City; Billy and Arla Korver of Alton; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother,Marvin Korver of Calif; two sisters,Martena Ryswyk of Mo.,Glenda Garbers of Minn. He was preceded in death by his wifes,his parents,two sisters, Sylvia Slegers and Marjorie Loenhorst.
