bijz: Adrianus verkrijgt zijn meestertitel in 1791 en wordt daarmee gildelid.
Hij maakte onder andere tasbeugels. Naast zilversmid is hij ook kasthouder. Een kasthouder is een winkelier (van oorspronkelijk kast (cast) = kleine voorraad). Het woord kasthouder wordt in de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw verdrongen door het woord juwelier. In 1789 is hij al lid geworden van het kramersgilde. Als leerjongens werkten bij hem Lodewijk Kuypers vanaf 1791, Clemens Cornelis Helligers vanaf 1794 (deze behaalde in 1807 zijn meestertitel en begon voor eigen rekening aan de Haven 469), Johannes Stout vanaf 1797 en Johannes Schouten vanaf 1797. In juni 1807 is Adrianus naar Gouda vertrokken. Daar was hij in 1815 wel goudsmid maar geen werkmeester.
