Prince of Scotland, heir to the Kingdom of Alba. He was also Earl of Northumberland and Earl of the Honour of Huntingdon and Northampton, Earl of North Numberland, ( Dunkeld of Scotland ), Earl of Huntingdon, Earl of Northumberland and Huntingdon

Na de dood van zijn oudere broer Malcolm werd hij troonopvolger van Schotland en rond 1130 volgde hij zijn moeder op als 3e graaf van Huntingdon. Zijn oudste twee zonen werden na de dood van hun grootvader achtereenvolgens koning van Schotland. Hetgraafschap Huntingdon werd geërfd door Simon de Saint-Liz (of Senlis), een half-broer van Henby. Hij was een zoon uit het eerste huwelijk van zijn moeder. Henby stierf in 1152, een jaar voor zijn vader.
