Notes about Anthonij Vesters

De "Brouwerij" op kad. sec. E nr. 335 was de gehele achttiende eeuw in het bezit van de familie Vesters. Anthony Vesters volgde zijn schoonvader Leonard van de Braack omstreeks 1700 als brouwer op, waarna zijn zoon Jeroon Vesters eigenaar
werd. Jeroon was tevens schepen (1724/54) van de Hoge Heerlijkheid en buurmeester (1730) van Well. Na zijn overlijden hertrouwde zijn weduwe met Ignatius Valck welke de volgende eigenaar werd. Ignatius was schepen (1756/76) en heemraad (1781) van deHoge Heerlijkheid. Op het einde van de achttiende eeuw was Adrianus Vesters de eigenaar Adrianus was schepen (1769/87) en heemraad (1778/96) van de Hoge Heerlijkheid en buurmeester (1769) en armmeester (1790) van Well. In de "brouwerij" was tevens een herberg ondergebracht.
