Casparus Vedder is geboren 29 mei 1745 te Huissen. Doopgetuigen waren Bernd van Manen en Joanna Gieben (zijn grootouders). Hij is overleden 3 april 1805 te Huissen. Trouwde 2 juni 1773 te Huissen met Maria van Dueren, geboren circa 1744, overleden 1 augustus 1804 te Huissen. Van hun vijf kinderen was alleen de op 27 mei 1775 geboren Albertus, van wie zijn oom Bernard peetoom was, een lang leven beschoren.
Deze Albert trouwde op 27 november 1804 te Huissen met Christina Schui(j)ling, geboren circa 1769 te Driel. Zij kregen een dochter Elisabeth, die na twee jaar overleed. Christina overleed een paar weken na de bevalling. Albert trouwde opnieuw, op 13januari 1807 te Huissen met Maria de Beijer, geboren 1779 te Zeddam. De acht kinderen uit dit huwelijk leefden maar kort, met uitzondering van Caspar die in 1809 werd geboren en leefde tot 1891. Zijn moeder Maria de Beijer stierf in 1826. Albert trouwde in 1830 voor de derde keer, met Willemina Gieben. Willemina overleed in 1843, Albert zelf in 1847.
