In de doopregisters wordt vermeld: Jan Laurens Kruijtmaker/Kruydmaker. [bron: Doopregister Ned Herv kerk te Oosterbeek 1700 en 1702]
Volgens het voorwoord op deze correcties/aanvulling op het doopboek staat o.a. dat de predikant in 1774 de opdracht heeft gekregen om ook de moeders van de gedoopte te vermelden in het doopboek.
Het zou dan gaan over de periode 1625 tot 1713 en 1713 tot 1751. Bij de aanvulling verklaart Johannes Jansen dat zijn moeder was Jenneke Willemsen en vader Jan Laurens Kruijtmaker (men wilde er eerst papiermaker schrijven gezien het woord dat er staat met een streep ( "pap" ).
