Kinderen uit dit huwelijk worden gelijkgesteld aan de voorkinderen en krijgen een gelijk deel uit de nalatenschap, met aftrek van voornoemd bewijs. Als er geen kinderen in dit huwelijk worden geboren en bij vooroverlijden van de bruid, krijgt de bruidegom een kindsdeel. Bij vooroverlijden van de bruidegom krijgt de bruid 5/6 part van de boedel. 1/6 Part is voor de erfgenamen van de bruidegom.
