Notes about Jacob Kolder

Gegevens Klas D van Zijp:
Jacob Kolder was bakker te Hensbroek. Zoals bij de meeste middenstanders, werd het hele gezin ingeschakeld bij het bedrijfje. Venten deed Jacob niet alleen zelf, maar ook zijn
dochters hielpen. Zij namen een deel van de wijk over, of hielpen vader bij het uitventen. Leuk vonden zij dat niet altijd. Uiteraard hielp moeder ook mee, zij stond vaak in de winkel.
Volgens zijn kleindochter waren de krentenmik (typisch West-Fries gebak) en de soezen het lekkerste wat grootvader Jacob bakte. Wanneer zij op bezoek kwam bij haar grootouders,
stonden op een vast plekje altijd twee soezen voor haar klaar.

04-mei -1899 verhuist Jacob naar Beets, waar hij als bakkersknecht werkt (bij S. de Wit?);
03-jan.-1902 verhuist Jacob naar Hoogwoud.
20-juni-1906 woont Jacob in Warder (No 40), hij werkt als slagersknecht; 30 sep 1907 verhuist hij naar Oudendijk

Jacob Kolder was bakker te Hensbroek. Naar verluid heeft Trijntje Kos aan chronische hoofdpijnen geleden. Haar leven eindigde na
een geslaagde zelfmoord poging. Zij heeft zichzelf verdronken.

Ook Jacob Kolder is geen natuurlijke dood gestorven, hij zou zich verhangen hebben.
In de archieven staat geen datum van overlijden maar: op 10-juni-1959 dood gevonden.
