      Hij werd in de parochiekerk in Richterich begraven.
      Op 22 november 1647 ontving hij van zijn schoonzus Maria von Rittersbach, weduwe Josten enh haar kinderen een schuldbrief ter hoogte van 200 daalders op het goed "Das Große Stück" in het Rijk van Aken. Omdat hij niet kon betalen liet Gerhard op 26 apr 1655 beslag leggen op het goed, dat daarna publiekelijk werd verkocht

      Er wurde in der alten Pfarrkirche zu Richterich begraben. Am 22.11.1647 stellten ihm seine Schwägerin Maria von Rittersbach, Witwe Josten und ihre Kinder für eine Schuld von 200 Tlr. eine Obligation auf das Gut "Das Große Stück" im Reich Aachen zum Pfand. Mangels Zahlung legte Gerhard am 26.04.1655 Arrest auf das Gut, welches dann öffentlich verkauft wurde.
