RAL-LvO 1759, 178v: Op 27 april 1758 werd een gemeenschappelijk testament opgemaakt door Maria Limpens, ongehuwd en ziek te bed liggend in het huis van haar broer Gabriel, samen met haar eveneens ongehuwde broers Gabriel en Leonaerd. Zij werden elkaars erfgenamen, waarbij bepaald werd dat de langstlevende(n) 25 gulden voor missen en 25 gulden voor armengeld zou(den) betalen. Na het overlijden van de langstlevende zou hun zwager [Joannes Beckers, wiens naam niet genoemd wordt!] het huis met moestuin en weide, gelegen in Terstraten, erven. Voorwaarde was wel dat hun zwager aan de kinderen van wijlen Hendrik Limpens 100 pattacons zou uitkeren. Indien echter het huis door vuur of anderszins te gronde zou gaan, mocht hun zwager uit de overige erfenis goederen ter waarde van 500 gulden overnemen. Tot universele erfgenamen werden de kinderen van hun zwager, gehuwd met Mechtild Limpens, benoemd.
RAL-LvO 1761, 150v: Op 24 januari 1775 verklaarde Gabriel Limpens, ongehuwd en wonend te Terstraten onder Nuth, dat hij door zijn hoge leeftijd niet meer in staat was om te werken en dat hij verder door allerlei ongelukkige omstandigheden in schulden was geraakt. Hij had daarom besloten om aan zijn neef Leonardus Beckers, gehuwd met Elisabeth Frissen, 115 kleine roeden beemd, genaamd Lattenbeemd, te verkopen, grenzend aan de weduwe Leonaerd Eggen, de weduwe Joannes Frissen, de beek en Hermen Meijs, voor twee gulden per kleine roede. - A child of Leonardus Li(j)mpens and Ida Vroemen
