    Henricus is geboren op 11 februari 1906 in Soest. Hij had drie kinderen en een vrouw waar hij voor moest zorgen. Zijn beroep was aannemer; hij had dus een druk leven. Ze woonden in de Regentesselaan op nummer 4 in Soest. Hij zat bij de Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten (BS) en zat ook in een verzetsgroep van Soest. In het begin van de oorlog ging hij in het verzet. Samen met zijn verzetsgroep heeft hij een postkantoor overvallen om de persoonsbewijzen te stelen. Thuis hij had zijn radio verstopt achter het behang in de serre. Hij luisterde altijd naar het kwartiertje radio Oranje met vertrouwde mensen.
    Henricus is op 15 november 1944, samen met zijn zoon die 16 was, opgepakt. Hij kwam net thuis toen de Duitsers hun huis omsingelden en hij verstopte zich achter een kast. Hij werd toen naar kamp Amersfoort gestuurd. Zijn zoon moest naar Arnhem om daar loopgraven te graven. Drie dagen later op 18 november 1944 werd Henricus in Leusden gefusilleerd. Zij familie kreeg het pas een half jaar later te horen. Zijn zoon is later opgehaald in Arnhem door de zus van Henricus.
    Voor het maken van deze biografie hebben wij ook een gesprek gehad met de dochter van de heer van Breukelen, mevrouw Labordus-van Breukelen.
