Werd door het huwelijk van Rodolphe en Augusta in 1897 erkend en gewettigd.
Bij de 9-de volkstelling (geschat in 1915) wordt hij weer genoemd als wonend in de woonwagen van het gezin. Bij "betrekking tot het gezinshoofd" staat echter een streep.
Op het tellingsformulier staat dat op 20-12-1911 een binnenlands paspoort is verleend.
Bij de ontzetting uit de ouderlijke macht van Augusta Change wordt door gevangenispersoneel verklaard dat de beide echtelieden elkaar verwensingen toeschreeuwden. Augusta werd verweten "dat een van haar zonen niet zijn kind, maar een kind van de oudste zoon, bij zijn moeder verwekt, zou wezen". Mogelijk gaat het om Eduard Johann Heinrich. Gezien de achternaam zou de vader een oom van moeders kant kunnen zijn.????
