Notes about Dirkje Temmink

Dirkje geboren werd in 1887 in Twello, en huwde op 19 jarige leeftijd de 10 jaar oudere Derk Neuteboom Spijker van de andere kant van de IJssel, namelijk van uit Olst.. Dirkje had " haast " om te trouwen, er diende zich een meisje aan...Hierna kwamen er nog twee zoons op de wereld.(Hendrik Jan en Jan) Het boerenleven leek mooi. Het 25 jarig huwelijksfeest werd gevierd en 5 maanden later kwam haar man te overlijden door een verkeersongeluk !! Derk werd 55 jaar oud en Derkje bleef achter met nog 2 zonen op de boerderij. Dirkje is bijna 30 jaar weduwe geweest..Ondanks alle narigheid is Dirkje 73 jaar oud geworden en begraven op de Algemene begraafplaats te Terwolde.
