Zij waren ruim ..49.. jaar gehuwd toen Albert Jan overleed.
Albert Jan werd zelf 73 jaar oud en overleed in1943 tijdens de tweede wereldoorlog, een jaar eerder dan zijn zoon:Gerard,die ook in de tweede wereldoorlog sneuvelde in 1944.
