In 1747 en 1755 zit Jan Derx Witteveen op de korenmolen (aan de Brink). Hij is gehuwd met Jacoba Muller en ze hebben 5 kinderen. In 1790 en in 1801 wordt de molen gepacht door Jan Witteveen (5). Jan Dirx Witteveen, overleden op zaterdag 6 september 1766 om 3:00 uur op de Coornmolen. Aangegeven door Jan Theuwis. Begraven op woensdag 10 september 1766. De weduwe van Jan Dirx Witteveen, overleden op zondag 18 januari 1784 om 19:00 uur op de Coornmolen. Aangegeven door Cornelis Korthals. Begraven op zaterdag 24 januari 1784.
