Hendrik was karman,later winkelknecht.Hij kocht in 1844 met zijn vrouw,van Jan van de Hout,postiljon,en Willemina van 't Laar een ërfstal met woonhuis,gelegen op de keizer bij de binnenpoort achter het huis van kastelein Duym ter grootte van ene roede en zevenenveertig ellen ,alhier te Deventer.Het werd op 19-4-1849 aan advocaat Kronenberg verkocht voor fl 1100,00.
