uiteraard met bronvermelding.

In 1915 staat deze vermelding in het telefoonboek van Haarlem: 130,

Radsma, B.C. en L., Steenhouwerij, Kampersingel 8.

Ook in 1930 staan de broers nog in het Haarlemmer telefoonboek

vermeld Later werkte Bote in de steenhouwerij die hij “Vrede-Hof”

noemde.

Het begon echter allemaal ongeveer een eeuw geleden aan de

Kampersingel. Het pand waarin de broers Luuk en Bote Radsma

destijds hun steenhouwerij dreven bestaat overigens nog altijd.

De ingang van de poort is inmiddels dichtgemetseld, waarbij een

raam en deur zijn geplaatst. In de gevel op de eerste etage prijken

twee stille getuigen van voorbije tijden en naarstige

steenhouwerarbeid: “anno” en “1906”.

Beiden zijn begraven op begraafplaats Westerveld te Driehuis. De

graflocatie is KI 054 000. Anno 2008 trof ik het graf nog in goede

staat aan.
