The following information was provided by Jitske Dankert's "Genealogie van Sibbele Gjalts en Rienk Hendriks Hoogsteen uit Achtkarspelen," dated Feb. 22, 2004.

"X-b AISE HENDRIKS VAN DER HEIDE, born in Surhuizum circa 1757, living in Drogehamsterheide, died in Surhuizum, Nr 88 on Wednesday May 2, 1821, aged approximately 64 years, son of HENDRIK AIZES (AYSES) and MARTZEN KEIMPES (IX-b).

Aise was married in Drogeham on Sunday May 11, 1788 in church to JELTJE JANS, born in Drogeham circa 1757, died in Surhuizum on Monday July 30, 1827, aged approximately 70 years, daughter of JAN JANS and GRIETJE PIETERS.

From this marriage:

1 HENDRIK AISES VAN DER HEIDE, born in Surhuizum on Wednesday May 21, 1788, christened there on Sunday June 29, 1788, died there on Tuesday March 18, 1828, aged 39 years.

2 MARTZEN AISES VAN DER HEIDE, christened in Surhuizum on Sunday April 11, 1790, died in Achtkarspelen on Wednesday March 15, 1837, aged 46 years.

3 GRIETJE AISES VAN DER HEIDE, christened in Surhuizum on Friday March 25, 1796, died there on Wednesday June 23, 1824, aged 28 years.

4 JAN AISES VAN DER HEIDE, christened in Surhuizum on Friday March 25, 1796, died there on Wednesday January 2, 1828, aged 31 years."
