Ik ben de enige dochter van Casparus Los: Adriana Eva Los, geboren op 2 november 1952.
Gelukkig heb ik heel lang van mijn vader Kas Los mogen genieten en veel lange gesprekken met hem gehad.
Het schrijven van de naam Casparus met een C ipv hoofdletter K (Kasparus), is ooit door de schoolmeester (meester de Ren)in Oude Wetering in het leven geroepen.
Meester de Ren was behoorlijk eigenwijs en stellig in de overtuiging dat Opa Los de naam (K)Casparus verkeerd geschreven had bij de aangifte, waardoor mijn vader als ambtenaar altijd heel precies ondertekende met een handtekening waarin duidelijk C.Los was te herkennen, met in bloktetters eronder: K.Los.
Later hebben zich nog heel veel meer hilarische vergissingen voorgedaan door die letter K, waardoor menige instantie op het verkeerde been werd gezet met Klos: Mijn vader wilde altijd de puntjes op de i dus telefoneerde dan met de betreffende - over deze vergissing:
”Nee, de naam Klos is onjuist meneer, ik heet Los, nee EL OO ES, nee Los…… kortweg Los”. Waarna er nog zeker 40 jaar post kwam gericht aan meneer Kortweg-Los.
