    Zijnlichaam werd aan de schoot der aarde toevertrouwd op vrijdag 6 november
    1959 op het r.-k. kerkhof te Enschede.

    Ondoorgrondeliik zijn Gods Raadsbesluiten,
    onnaspeurlijk zijn wegen". De mens wikt maar het is God die beschikt.
    Gods Voorzienigheid leidt en bestuurt alles. "Zalig de doden, die in de Heer sterven".

    Hii was een man van groot geloof, een zeer
    sociaal voelende mens met een gezond, nuchter verstand. eenvoudig en bescheiden, oprecht
    godsdienstig. die de ijver voor God steeds in zijn ziel en huisgezin heeft bewaard.
    Het is een genade Gods, zulk een vader te hebben gehad. Hij had voor alles belangstelling,
    vooral voor deopgroeiende jeugd. Spreken was voor hemzilver maar zwijgen goud .
    Dierbare echtgenote, geliefde kinderen familieleden en kennissen. vergeet mij niet in uwe
    godvruchtige gebeden en gij, mijn priesterzoon
    pater Waldefridus, wees mijne ziel in uw Missie· arbeid, aan het Altaar des Heren gedachtig. Wij
    zullen elkander eens weerzien.
