TRIP (Dirk) (1), ged. te Amsterdam 18 Nov. 1691, aldaar begr. 8 April 1748, zoon van Lucas T. (1), die volgt, en Elisabeth Calkoen, promoveerde tot jur. utr. doctor 19 Juni 1711 op een proefschrift De Furtis, huwde te Amsterdam 4 Dec. 1712 met Christina Eijgels, dochter van Pieter Eijgels, en hertrouwde aldaar 8 Febr. 1729 met Agatha Levina Geelvinck, dochter van Mr. Lieve Geelvinck, burgemeester en raad. In 1708 was hij kerkmeester van de Nieuwe Walenkerk, werd commissaris 1713, schepen 1726, burgemeester 1735, curator van het amsterdamsche Athenaeum 1741, assessor van het gooilandsche Jagtgeregt, gecommitteerde in het Collegie ter admiraliteit 1745 en 46, een en ander te Amsterdam. Hem behoorde de hofstede Waterlant in Kennemerland.
Zijn zoons Lucas (4) en Pieter uit het eerste huwelijk, en Dirk (2) uit het tweede huwelijk, volgen.
