Jan V, Graaf van Nassau (in Siegen, Dillenburg, Hadamar en Herborn), Vianden en Dietz, Heer van Breda (Breda, 9 november 1455 - Dillenburg, 30 juli 1516) was de zoon van Jan IV van Nassau en Maria van Loon-Heinsberg.

Jan V was in 1504 en 1505 stadhouder van Gelre en Zutphen. In 1504 erfde hij Breda en Vianden van zijn broer Engelbrecht II van Nassau. Na zijn overlijden erfde zijn zoon Hendrik III van Nassau zijn Nederlandse bezittingen. De Duitse bezittingen gingen naar zijn zoon Willem de Rijke.

Op 11 februari 1482 huwde Jan V te Marburg met Elisabeth van Hessen. Uit dit huwelijk werden zes kinderen geboren:

Jan (1484-1504)
Ernst (1486)
Willem de Rijke
Elisabeth van Nassau
Maria van Nassau
Graaf Jan V is begraven in Siegen.
