Notes about Helmert Willems van Lockhorst

Begraven graf nr. 54 in de kerk van Woudenberg.
In het doopboek van Woudenberg wordt Helmert vermeld als een "van Overeem", maar dat is de familienaam van zijn moeder.
Woonde aanvankelijk op de boerderij Catwinkel te Darthuizen. Op 20-01-1729 ruilde hij met zijn broer Hendrik die op de Ringelpoel (Woudenberg) zat. Later wordt hij ook genoemd als bruiker van de Ringelpoel (HTGV-13 nr 84, 1735). Wordt in 1732 voorgedragen als schepen van Woudenberg. In 1739 beleend met ongeveer 2 morgen heetveld uit het Voort (Bron: Stichtse leenreg. 117, 15 en Beleningen Holevoet nr. 17a). Zie ook RA Utrecht, Arch. Financ. Instellingen, inv.nr. 2484, reg. 40e penning, 09-03-1739: koopt op 02-03-1739 van Johannes Middelhoven: "seekere anderhalve mergen lands, gaande uyt een stuk heetvelts, groot omtrent twee mergen, eertijds behoort hebbende aant Erff de Voort gelegen in den Gerechte van Woudenberg op de Noortzijde", voor f 600.
- Verkoopt met zijn echtenote enerzijds en zijn zwager Ruth Jansen van Ginkel anderzijds ieder de helft van
1. een hofstede met ongeveer 30 morgen onder Leersum;
2. een morgen in de Eng ten zuiden van het bovengenoemde;
3. vier morgen weiland aan de Oudenhorsterweg in Woudenberg;
aan Sander Jacobsen, voor fl. 1600.
