He was in Dartmouth and was a soldier of the Revolution from that town. He served as sergeant in Captain Job Cook's (Sixteenth) company. Colonel Hathaway's (Second Bristol County) regiment, from August 4 to August 8, 1780, on an alarm at Rhode Island, roll sworn to at Dartmouth.
